Writing in the Guardian today, the papers online editor-in-chief Emily Bell says that the Guardian will be launching regular daily news podcasts as well as weekly programmes covering other subjects.
Reading the whole article is fascinating [no link to it yet] as a snap-shot illustration of an evolving media organisation: there’s the recording studio in the corner of the office… there’s the news editor discovering he’s got what it takes to host a radio show… there they are questioning whether they will ever be able to properly compete with the BBC…
