Yesterday afternoon, after a labour that began on Friday (yes Friday), my wife gave birth to our new daughter, Scarlett-Lily. Weighing in at 7 lb 10 oz (like our beer and our roads, we still use imperial measurements for our babies in the UK), she’s home now.
Blogging, as they say, may be "light" for a while… at least blogging about the media, communications, current affairs etc. I’m a little preoccupied, to say the least…

I love the name!! I, too, have 2 daughters: The first daughter’s name is Lily, and the second daughter is Scarlett. Hence, I formed a company not long ago and named it “Scarlett Lily”. I think of a beautiful red lily every time I call their names together. CONGRATULATIONS on your beautiful little daughter and her absolutely lovely name!
