The head of BBC News Interactive has revealed details of a dedicated news aggregator that could be an alternative to Google News.
Speaking to Journalism.co.uk last week at the World Digital Publishing Conference in London, Peter Clifton discussed the aggregator move as part of a package of services which would be branded Your News and include user generated content (aka citizen journalism) and a wiki.
As we reported yesterday, some people are finding Google News less useful these days. A personalised service such as the one from the BBC could attract a lot of users.
