If you’ve not seen it, Scribd is a fascinating site to have a mooch around. It is basically a YouTube for documents.
It’s actually very useful for all sorts of things – besides the interesting documents you can find there on everything from giving up smoking to perfecting that GTD system (imagine if you used all that GTD tinkering time actually getting things done, etc) you can use it as a platform to share documents (that you don’t mind being public and then embed them on your blog (see example below).
As well as viewing documents you can then download them in various formats – all highly useful.
Like YouTube there’s a fair amount of copyright violation – here’s an example of one of the many Asterix books up there, for instance:
